Inspiring Inspiration

Inspiration can be found in many different places. The internet, Pinterest, magazines, books, etc. are all terrific places to find a variety of images that will motivate and inspire. This may be shocking news, but building a new home requires hours and hours of searching for inspiration. The amount of decisions that are required throughout the entire process can be a tad overwhelming at times. I’ve probably looked at our contractor at least a dozen times throughout the building process with a bewildered “deer in the headlight” sort of look. If  your anything like me, quick decisions don’t work. And you have to see visual images. Sure, I can picture in my head how things will look, but seeing a picture of the finished product is way better. I’m a visual kind of gal. Especially when every decision in the building process will lead to the outcome of your future home of 30- 40 + years. With that said, I think it’s absolutely imperative to search and search some more for home and room inspiration.

My favorite source for inspiration is definitely Pinterest. If you’re unfamiliar, you really must take a look around. It offers an amazing amount and variety of inspiration. From recipes to photography to home inspiration, Pinterest ensures a certain level of satisfaction. Some of my favorite inspiring images are:

Pretty Incredible right?

There are so many wonderful pictures all with great inspiration for decorating, organizing, crafting, cooking, etc. I can’t even express my love for Pinterest. And probably the best part: all of these glorious images are in one place. ONE place! No more bookmarking a page or saving it to your desktop! YES! Oh so organized!

It’s made the process of building and designing a home so much easier! Absolutely Brilliant! And seriously addicting!

Check it out! But be ready to spend about 48 hours straight pinning awesome images. Who needs sleep?

But seriously, consider this a fair warning!
